When: The event will take place on Sunday, December 1, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Pacific.
Where: This is a virtual event hosted on Zoom. You’ll receive a Zoom link and preparation guidelines after you RSVP to help you create a supportive and intentional space for the journey.
Cost: This event is free. Participants are encouraged to consider donating to the Indigenous Peoples Power Project, or to any other organization supporting Indigenous resistance and sovereignty.
What You Need to Participate:
your own cannabis*
a stable internet connection
a good set of headphones or computer speakers
a comfortable and quiet space where you can be free from distractions for three hours
any items that help you create a calming environment (e.g., blankets, candles, essential oils, grounding objects, or items of personal significance)
*Cannabis use is entirely optional. You are welcome to participate in the meditations and the shared journey with nothing more than your own mindfulness!
What to Expect
This journey will be centered around themes of gratitude and abundance. It is an opportunity to set intentions for the final weeks of 2024, cultivate a sense of gratitude, and explore the richness of your own awareness in a sacred, community-oriented space. The overall mood of the event will be celebratory and reverent. With the aid of cannabis, we’ll engage in an imbibing ritual and a series of guided meditations designed to help you connect more deeply with your inner experience and the gifts present in your life. The journey will be accompanied by an eclectic playlist featuring ambient soundscapes, global rhythms, and modern instrumental compositions. The entire event will last about three hours, including time for grounding and integration.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This event takes place on the weekend after Thanksgiving, a holiday with a complex legacy rooted in colonialist history and the dispossession of Indigenous lands. In honoring the spirit of gratitude and abundance, we hold space for awareness of this history and offer respect to the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations. This journey also incorporates ceremonial plant medicine practices inspired by Indigenous wisdom and traditions that have, at times, been appropriated in modern contexts. Our approach is grounded in respect, appreciation, and solidarity. While there is no charge for this event, participants are encouraged to consider donating to the Indigenous Peoples Power Project, or to any other organization supporting Indigenous resistance and sovereignty.
